| Troubled teens are indeed in need of further attention and a place where they can feel that they belong. And I think a place like Mount Carmel would be the perfect destination for teens who are loosing track of life. And the thought of getting in touch with God, through this "Reality Therapy" on a 40000 acre working cattle ranch, is something really interesting. If you teens seemed to be out of control and you can feel like they needed some space, better consider the school of Mount Carmel. |
| Having help is better than having no help at all. It is good that there is still hope for change for these troubled teens. Hope they can overcome their personal struggles and indifference towards people and society. Besides these troubled teens, I think society should also give them a break and another chance. They should not be an outcast after their rehabilitation. |
| I admire those organizations who hold camps for young people going through difficult times. Especially if those organizations are attempting to bring an element of spirituality into the young people's lives, of course in a way that is palatable and not pushy. I would give a word of advice to parents before choosing to send your child to one of these camps, that you take care that the facility is to your liking, as there have been many lawsuits due to accidents at these sites. |
| This video is truly inspiring. It is great to know that troubled teenagers now have a place to seek refuge. There is tremendous pressure on teenagers but adults don't seem to realize that anymore. This is when generation gap between parents and children widens. It is sometimes so wide that it's hard to bridge and this could result in broken relationships or broken dreams. Mount Carmel is God's sanctuary for these troubled teens. |
