| Cognitive therapy gives you some insight on self help. It begins by getting your thoughts in order. Generally people have problems because of their belief systems and convictions. We build a structure based on our prejudices and then expect the world to fit into that pattern. Whe it doesn´t, then we get upset and try to fight it. It used to be called "neurosis" once, but the name change does not change anything. All the personality disorders have the same origin. So, begin by making a survey of your expectations and beliefs and test them to see if they are "sane" and reasonable. Change those that are not. You will be on your way! |
