Are there some effective techniques for self help therapy? Are there any online courses?

Thank author of this post/commentThere is a self-help website that I know. You can check www.innerzine.com. It really helps. It's mainly about coping and dealing with life.

Cognitive therapy gives you some insight on self help. It begins by getting your thoughts in order.

Generally people have problems because of their belief systems and convictions. We build a structure based on our prejudices and then expect the world to fit into that pattern.

Whe it doesn´t, then we get upset and try to fight it.

It used to be called "neurosis" once, but the name change does not change anything.

All the personality disorders have the same origin.

So, begin by making a survey of your expectations and beliefs and test them to see if they are "sane" and reasonable.

    Change those that are not.

You will be on your way!

There a lot of website that will teach you about self help therapy. Actually you can make a self therapy on yourself it's just a matter of your upbringing in life. How you handle your emotions and how you work with your health. Look at your behavior, perceptions and routines. These are just some of the factors you need to consider. If you find some irregularities in it then you need to change it for good.

Actually it is easy to just say that we can change in just a short span of time but is really hard. Once you are used to doing stuffs you would find it hard to get rid of that habit. It takes lots of hard work to deal with your old self. I am not saying that change is impossible, but what I am pointing out is how hard it is for people to change.
