i have a almost anorexic friend with parents that ENCOURAGE STARVING!?

Thank author of this post/commentwere both 13 and ive been anorexic for around a year now. ive noticed that my friend has started early stages to. shes in modeling classes (they aren't concerned bout weight) and her parents said if she didn't lose 20 pounds she cant model anymore. so her mom literally wants her to eat only vegetables and green tea for a week!! its insane and her bmi is 22!! healthy! she doesn't need to! i asked if she wanted to go to my therapy with me and her parents wouldn't let her because e"they already have a "Special diet for her" she thinks shes ugly and fat and shes clearly gonna be a full anorexic really soon. her parents don't want her to get therapy but i know she needs it!! wat do i do? i got her to eat small meals though so thats good... shes perfectly healthy now but the things she says about her appearance is wat i said to myslef in the beginning of my anorexia...

Lots of teens are like that. They think that they are fat when they are not and they think they eat too much when they barely eaten anything. I think it is very important that we do check our teens, it is not healthy to let them starve to death. I think health is still the most important thing in the entire universe. Anyway, have a great day and keep posting.
