| Hi Again Abbey! I'm not sure how much of "discussion" this will be, but one thing I've noticed as I've poured over these message boards is the extremely negative and derogatory comments made by a few folks posting...(this is not directed at you, Abbey, it's merely an observation) First of all, I believe it's everyone's right to have an opinion...and I also believe no one's opinion necessarily has to match or coincide with my own. However... I see no real benefit or need to be mean spirited or cruel, or even harsh in what we say. I assume the purpose of these boards are to INFORM and ENLIGHTEN not DEBASE and DEMEAN??? I am a firm believer in the necessity of trying to "walk a mile in the other person's shoes" before making judgmental comments. But then, that's just me. :-) Lots of folks think my empathy and pollyanna "positive" attitude are misplaced in the mental health field, but I think they are desperately needed! | hi im a teen and of what you should know is that im not really a good person. i love doing things im not supoce to do when im 17. im a sexual active person and i hate it because sometimes i cant control it. i cheated on my boyfriend with this other guy i dont even like i just lusted him . As for drugs im happy because i havent been doing hem for a while know but sometimes i have my temptations...well i need to know what do do so i cant let this all distract me from my school work |
| It can be very disgusting a thing, when it is that grown folks are trying to hold a serious discussion, be it over the web or what have you, to have to run into a bunch of "IDIOTS" for lack of a better word, who cannot seem to help, but take apart their words or simply just be very annoying, in general, and for no particular purpose. |
