 Hi Again Abbey!I'm not sure how much of "discussion" this will be, but one thing I've noticed as I've poured over these message boards is the extremely negative and derogatory comments made by a few folks posting...(this is not directed at you, Abbey, it's merely an observation) First of all, I believe it's everyone's right to have an opinion...and I also believe no one's opinion necessarily has to match or coincide with my own. However... I see no real benefit or need to be mean spirited or cruel, or even harsh in what we say. I assume the purpose of these boards are to INFORM and ENLIGHTEN not DEBASE and DEMEAN??? I am a firm believer in the necessity of trying to "walk a mile in the other person's shoes" before making judgmental comments. But then, that's just me. :-) Lots of folks think my empathy and pollyanna "positive" attitude are misplaced in the mental health field, but I think they are desperately needed!
