• Page 1 (Original Post) • Fat Albert (208.155.116.249) - There are many attempts to determine the difference between the feminine and masculine psyche. Volkmar in his ``Textbook of Psychology'' has attempted to review these experiments. But the individual instances show how impossible is clear and definite statement concerning the matter. Much is too broad, much too narrow; much is unintelligible, much at least remotely correct only if one knows the outlook of the discoverer in question, and is inclined to agree with him. Consider the following series of contrasts. Comment #1 Dr. Doug (200.91.169.133) - Hi Fat Albert, Comment #2 Amber Stuart (66.0.229.66) - While I concur that males and females are different, I think that the over-simplifications about one of the most complex aspects of humanity is an injustice to the arguement. Plus, you quote almost exclusively Western Judeo-Christian authors as sources, and do not mention the important philosophical work done in Hindu, Buddhist, and East Asian cultures. Yin Yang? Wet and Dry? Soft and Hard? Comment #3 steve (63.176.159.112) - men and women are different in many ways.. some for the good, and some not so good. Comment #4 Janice (63.176.159.254) - I agree with you there Steve! Comment #5 Gabby (63.176.159.221) - Men and women are all made the same. People just think different. A woman is just a capable as a man. Comment #6 Johny (63.176.159.51) - Men and women are created equal and can accomplish the same things. Comment #7 John (63.176.159.11) - Not necessarily... it is what happens AFTER creation that makes people so different! Plus some people are created less equal and others! Comment #8 Johny (63.176.159.92) - Im not talking about every individual person in particular. Comment #9 James (63.176.159.4) - why do people always think they are better than someone else? Comment #10 Kelly (63.176.159.77) - People and there families are what make people different, but all of us are equal in some ways. Comment #11 Naid (63.176.159.252) - Men and Women are not equal for they are designed to complement each other. There's a lot of difference with both of the sexes. For example men are better as a leader while women are better in parenting. Everything has a purpose so nobody should whine about their gender and equality. Comment #12 crystal from asia (Contact Member) - of course men are different from women and that could be seen right away in our physical features. That alone is an evident proof that men are different from women. So you can expect a difference from both. Comment #13 Melisssa (63.176.159.21) - Funny truth about men and women: • Page 1 (Original Post) •
