I am always tired and stress from work due to a busy schedules. There were times that I do not even have the time to bond with my child. Except for taking a pills for stress, I would like to know if there is a kind of exercise on how to reduce stress. If somebody knows regarding this matter please send me more info. It will be helpful and I will greatly appreciated.

Thank author of this post/comment"Grounding"

I am a strong proponent of meditation. The challenge is that there are almost too many definitions of that word.

As simply as I can I will break it down. (a little) Mediation is the third level of a process that frees the mind from three dimensional chatter.

The first stage is to practice concentration. The second is contemplation.

Here is an exercise using a candle. (In an area lacking breezes.) Staring at the flame is concentrating. At some point the gaze might fuzz out. The flame is still the primary object but a broader sense is experienced that is more contemplation. When contemplating with the candle thoughts may enter, play on the stage and exit. They are observed; not attached to, wrestled with or manipulated.

Meditation segues in and out. It is kind of the times that one forgets its a candle in front of them and the random thoughts pass more freely or subside. There can be varying degrees of detachment form any input from the five senses.

There is also a simple act of grounding. This is easily done by lowering the head below the heart. Most commonly - kneeling with the forehead to the floor.
