| Is it possible to overdose on Vitamin B-12? I'm going to start taking Trivita Sublingual Vitamin B-12 which also contains Vitamin B-6, folic acid and ginseng. I want to start taking these for my low energy levels as well as to see if this helps with stress reduction. thanks in advance |
| I am not really sure, though. Well if it is an energy booster you just have to be very cautious because it might leave you restless. The fear there is that, you might not be able to help you in terms of stress reduction. Instead it might leave you stressed after taking so much of that vitamins. i still believe in moderation. Don't rush things. Being relaxed is just a state of mind. |
| Being relax is just a state of mind, I thought about this statement and I think I have to agree with you fifty percent. Yes, relaxation is a state of mind but it is not that easy to be relaxed as what you are trying to imply. There are even some people who finds it hard to remove all of those bad thoughts in their mind making them more stressed out and uncomfortable with a certain situation. |

If possible go to the nearest Health Food store and ask that question. Or even try a Pharmacy. Those could be free and reasonably credible sources. One can also consult a doctor or naturopath.I was once told I had a chronic B12 deficiency. I inject B12 once in a while - more often when I am doing physical labor; sometimes every four or five days. I'm not expert! I do understand that B vitamins are water soluble. They wash out and don't build up. It is the oil soluble vitamins that can be more dangerous - A and E for example. With that said, it is also good to keep in mind that there are a bunch of B's and they are related and intertwined. It is not uncommon that more health benefits can be achieved by stopping the ingesting of something. I suggest you look at your overall diet and see if there is anything that might be accelerating the leaching of your energy. |
| Taking Trivita Sublingual Vitamin B-12 could be a great help to reduce stress but I think there are other ways you can do to reduce stress without taking any medicine. You can try meditation or do yoga. This activity allows you to free your mind and relax your body for a while. If you want to inquire about the specification of Vitamin B-12 it's better to consult a doctor. |

I know that over the years I have had times that I upped my intake of Vitamins. A sometimes I feel better and other times I don’t. Many and I mean many Vitamins are poorly made and do not give you anywhere the needed amount of nutrients before they clear your body. Always look at the absorption rate of the product before spending your money. Now if you’re taking them for stress I highly recommend changing the life style or food intake to support a healthier way of life. I know, as I see many very stressed clients that state of mind is the issue at hand. Perhaps try Self hypnosis CDs or down loads as a way to find a calmer stress free mind set. As well find a good way to release the stress. Walking, running, Hiking, ETC. RT |
