| Article: Ways to Cope With Stress Being stressed is a normal thing, but remaining stressed all day is another story. People who work and who study are the ones who are very vulnerable to experience this stress. No matter how people strive to make all things proper, there will be times that some things are just not under control. But prevention is way too better than cure. Yes, it is next to impossible to live a stress-free life. However, a person can at least reduce the stress he/she is experiencing and so these are simple things how to cope up with stress. Get up fifteen minutes earlier. Being late for work or school often causes stress. Prepare for the morning the night before. Think of what you will wear for the next day or what breakfast shall you eat because in that way, you lessen the things you think about. Don’t rely on your memory, write things down. Make duplicate keys. Saving a duplicate for the rainy day will always help you to lessen your stress. Avoid negative people. Being with pessimistic people can affect your mood as well. As often as possibly, be around jolly and optimistic people as they could influence the way you think. Always make copies of important papers. Just as having duplicate keys, important documents should be photocopied so that when you lost it, you have some back-ups. You will definitely thank yourself when you have these back-ups when they become in need. Break large task into bite-sized portions. It that way, you can solve the task taking one part at a time making it appear as a smaller task which makes it less stressful. Smile more. Smiling releases happy hormones called “endorphins”. If you smile often, it will bring more optimism within you. Be prepared for rain. Always bring an umbrella or a rain coat. It is always better to bring water protection stuffs than going home looking like a wet duck. Believe in you. Believing in yourself does wonders.
