    Yahoo! Answers: Should I plant vegetables on a field sprayed with Roundup two ye

    Thank author of this post/commentWe've just moved in our new house, which has such a nice garden with orange trees, lemon trees and a lot of space to plant aromatic herbs and vegetables... Its such a shame that the field was sprayed with Roundup two years ago.... I've looked over the net and found that it might need up to 3 years for glyphosate (Roundup's main chemical ingredient) to fully degrade but the sources was not so reliable..... I've asked in the local "soil lab" if we can measure the toxicity or the concentration of Roundup in the soil but they cannot perform measurements like this. Do anyone knows more about this subject? Any references would be really much appreciated.... Warm greetings from Greece :)
