| Help... I wonder if someone can help with a little advice. Basically ive been seeing this girl for a little while now and she has bipolar. She recently just told me that she loves me and has said it quite a lot but she only seems to say it when she is on one of her high stages and then majorly backs off and acts like a completely different person. Almost aloof. I know a lot of you have said in previous posts that bipolar affects your personality but it's making me feel paranoid that she doesn't love me at all. What I want to know is when people who suffer from bipolar get in one of their up stages, excited and full of energy are they more prone to feel things they don't actually feel and then regret it later? I know obviously anyone could do this with or without bipolar, im just wondering if this would maybe enhance emotions that aren't really there? I'm doing my best to be there for her and give her space, adapt to her moods when needed but it's making me feel insecure and I have to protect myself. Thanks in advance |
| Well, if you do not love her you'll be there for her for better and for worst. As what you already said, she is suffering from a disease and it would be hard for her to really go on with life without those kinds of feelings and mood swings. Better be ready for the worst of everything when you are into a relationship with a person suffering with any kind of illnesses. |
