Considerations before rebellion and running away

I remember back in the days how I hated how my parents for control my life to a point where I can no longer breath with their strictness. I was doing well in my academics that time, but they still think that I would make those silly mistakes girls at my age would make that time. I wanted to run away and do the things that they thought I would do to show protest, but I knew better.

Then reality came in, and it asked me "where will you go if you run away? What good will it brings you? will your parents reconsider their strictness if you run away? If you won't return, what will happen to you with only an unfinished high school level degree to hold on to?"

Then it made me realize that I can not still do it on my own.
