It must be understood that what we call "psychology" is really an unsurmountable set of realities that goes beyond any fixed set of theories and abstractions.

Dr. Bateson plunged into an awsome thing called "the ecology of mind" in which he began to delve into just some of the intricacies of the human mind (which some still think is the same as the human brain).

To begin to understand the workings of the mind you must take into account the neurological, biological, sociological, sensory, functions etc. together and separately.

Psychology absolutely needs to be inter-disciplinary to get of the ground.

There is no single answer to any of the areas that psychology studies.
