Comment #1 Karen Daisy (63.176.159.161) - I didn't know that there is such a thing as psychic addiction. Well guess that can't be helped, too much of everything is bad. Just like what I've observed here in the forums as people are always asking where can they contact a psychic to give them a reading about their trip and business. I don't believe in them either and I like to do things on my own and most of the times the results are favorable. You are the master of your life don't rely too much on people who can't master their own. Comment #2 moya (63.176.159.49) - I agree that I am also often amazed at the direction psychic counselling and advice is leading folks to. It is no doubt that many people consider psychics to hold nothing but the whole key to their lives. Comment #3 pale_o (63.176.159.162) - All of us get into doing certain things without the thought that this could soon turn into some form of addiction nowhere within our imaginations. Within no time, you get hooked to doing it and feel that something could be amiss every time if fails to be part of routine. Comment #4 Eve (63.176.159.211) - Old saying, "to much of anything is good for nothing." Anything can be considered as a drug once used in excess and especially if it is used for particular purposes, such as, calming the body, relieving stress, and quite simple, it is basically all about just making yourself feel good about the future, or at least the present. Therefore, psychic counseling could be considered as much a drug as, anti-depressants. Comment #5 Kimberly (63.176.159.52) - I don't know if such addiction or mania indeed exist. Probably their just great fanatics of such psychic readings. They might be deceived by such obvious readings and believing it for real. Some of these psychics are professional and not in being psychic but being a lier and con-artists. Comment #6 cespeta (63.176.159.67) - Being "addicted" to psychic thing does not guarantee what we really want to happen in our lives or become of in the future. We are the makers of our own destiny. Comment #7 Nico (63.176.159.7) - Anything that is done in excess are called addiction, and there a very long list of addiction types. And probably one of the strangest addiction to ever happen to anyone is the psychic addiction, where one can't get enough of reading their future and the likes which are too many to elaborate. Comment #8 Rudolph (63.176.159.231) - I have not of psychic reading addiction till now, and i never thought that there might be lots people who got addicted to this practice. Comment #9 Nono (63.176.159.168) - Maybe they are not addicted, they just want to have their readings in a regular basis :), i have to agree that whatever that is people are likely to patronize and entertain depend largely on themselves and they are also the sole responsible on whatever outcome may be. Comment #10 Dean (63.176.159.151) - Those people who are addicted to what these psychics have to say about their live are those who are uncertain about their future. They believe so much in fate and destiny so much rather than creating and living their own choice of path. I don't agree with Nono that its entertaining when people's decisions are tainted with these psychic prediction instead of what they really want to do themselves. And even if you say that it won't overrule you it will still affect you in some way hearing it even its something good or bad. Comment #11 Shiva (63.176.159.58) - It's a compulsion. They'd like to hear what they want to hear and don't want to let go of what they hold on to. So they jump from one psychic to another until they seem to getting it. Then soon the cycle starts again. Maybe we should gather the psychics to help these people tab into CONSCIOUSNESS and the PRESENT. The answers we're looking for are already within us! Comment #12 Vistaj (63.176.159.244) - Maybe it is some sort of abnormal behavior or addiction or compulsion or whatever it is actually doesn't matter anymore. For me, patronizing this kind of practice must be done in moderation. Comment #13 Eve (63.176.159.253) - The answers, indeed, are located directly inside of us. Everything is a cycle, and when the winds of a cycle begin to change, morphing into less rather than into more, a person tends to be very much disheartened by the outcome. Comment #14 Eve (63.176.159.211) - Psychic addiction is ever present. There is certainly, not a single bit of doubt to it. Anyone that considers themselves to be a person that requires to know what it about to happen in their life, would surely be considered as an addict of the psychic readings. Comment #15 Eve (63.176.159.215) - Wanting to know more and more about one's future, is surely something that many can easily fall under a person's grasp when they realize the benefits of speaking to a psychic. Comment #16 Eve (63.176.159.53) - It is so very easy to become addicted to anything that alters the mind state, and psychic readings do just that. Comment #17 Flavio (63.176.159.232) - Wed Dec 23 20:47:23 2009 I think people who wants to escape the reality of the present are those who patronize this kind of psychic readings. I hate to say this but it would be much better if people tries to refrain from doing such things and just focus on what is for real. Comment #18 adam (63.176.159.55) - Mon Dec 28 10:28:29 2009 I love psychics, it is always good to know of the future prior to reaching there. Comment #19 Drake (63.176.159.183) - Thu Jan 14 21:50:26 2010 I am a self confessed psychic addict, I am always thinking of knowing what is going to happen in the future and to know what the future may bring forth for me. And I think I am facing a very serious problem now, my husband is forcing me stop but I do not know how to resist it. Please help, i need some advice on how to get myself out of this psychic activities. Comment #20 Anang (63.176.159.230) - Mon Feb 8 20:28:18 2010 Just think of your husband forcing you to do so. Just think of the problem you will have with your husband if you continue with your activity. And just think of all those money you are wasting and the time that you are spending. You can try diverting your mind to something else. A certain hobby, or try gardening, go out and have fun with friends. There are indeed lots of things that you can try to forget about psychics. Comment #21 Bello (109.111.97.80) - Sun Mar 7 21:26:17 2010 That is very true, there are indeed lots of other things to do aside from doing those stuffs that we do not know if real or not. I would rather spend my time on something productive and not to those stuffs that might cause me and my husband's break up. Hope that all of those self confessed psychic addicts finally get over their addiction and start a new. Good day. • Page 1 (Original Post) •
