help me save my marriage

I have an anger problem that is causing unrest in my marriage. It is not anger at anything singular or even anger at all. It is more like I have fits of rage at times and mostly over small matters. My wife fears me and I do not want that to be the case. I would do anything for her and want her to be happy. I am at the point where my marriage may be over and what I can do to save it. We have been married 10 years and most of it is good except when my rage happens it pushes her further away. We have an extremely bad communication skills between us so talking usually ends up in arguement. I find when she cuts me off or just walks away during talks is when I feel the rise of anger the most and then rage. I feel like I am always stiving for her affection as well. I am afraid of losing my wife but I can no longer promise that the rage will not happen again. I need help. Any suggestions.
