Couple's Therapy - Saving the Marriage

Divorce has been legalized for the United States of America to addressed irreconcilable and abusive relationships to marriage couples, and not as something because one party is just to tired of the other. One should consider their children and the social implications that divorce could result to. This is what marriage councilors are for, to address pressing marriage issues and trying to find or rekindle that lost "spark" within couples. Save your marriage and try counseling.

Noime,

You are 100% correct regarding your opinion about why you should stay in a marriage. Too many people take the easy way out when they hit a stumbling block.

Our opinion is that people in general do not spend enough time on those life issues that really matter. There are too many distractions that people allow themselves to become involved with and they do not prioritize and consider things from all angles- such as effect on children and other hardships resulting from divorce. Many times people are too focused on their happiness or lack thereof and don't realize that happiness comes from many factors working together. Counselors help to put people's minds and thoughts in the right direction. Divorce should be a last resort after everything else has been given a concerted effort by both partners, including counseling.

Regards,

Chuck and Kathy
