Hi there, I have been with my husband for 3 years and married for 2. I am living in the UK with him. We use to have lots of fun together, but my husband took on a job 2 years ago where he works long hours (till 4am some mornings). The job is also not a particularly high paying. He is always snappy and short with me which he never use to be. We cannot discuss anything without an argument. I keep telling him it is just a job. We dont go out together after work anymore. I have wanted to leave him many times and go home to my family, as he does not appreciate how much the job infringes on our life.
I had to book my own flights and organise the hotel my own birthday this year because he is too busy.
I am at breaking point. I do love him, but it is becoming unbearable in these conditions. I am a foreigner in this country as well, so I dont know lots of people.
