| Answers: Anybody else feel sad when you see your parents getting older? Yesterday morning I was sitting downstairs with my mom having breakfast and she poured herself some cereal in a bowl and picked up her spoon and was about to eat her cereal with no milk. I asked her "Ma wheres your milk?" and she looked a little embarrassed and said "I guess I forgot to pour some."...... And now this Morning she poured her cereal and her milk but she sat in her chair looking very confused for about 10 seconds so I finally asked "Hey Ma whats wrong?" And she looked at me and said "I forgot how to say my grace!!" When she looked at me and said that it reminded me of My Gramma "whom developed Alzheimer's disease and recently died of cancer!!" I tried my hardest to hold back my tears but I cried right in front of her. She kept telling me it was ok it was just early in the Morning and she was still half sleep but these type of things happen all the time. Does anybody else fear their parents getting old in age, getting sick and dying??? I know its a part of life but how do you keep yourself from worrying about it?? |
| No, I am not that sad when I see them getting older since they are happy themselves. I think there are some things in life that while we are young we must do whatever we can to accomplish our dreams and so in the future we would have less regrets and be contented on what we have accomplished. And my parents really inspires me a lot and so I would like to follow what they had done. |
