    need some support

    - Bipolar Disorder

    need some support

so i've been dating this girl for pretty much a year now. she told me she was bipolar on our first date. she told me that not very many people know that she is. she didn't tell her ex until their second year together. so when she told me, i guess i felt kinda special.

she's told me how she could get and not to take personal. she's also told me about her past. how she's cheated (when she was younger), how she's gone back and forth with 2 guys, and how she was totally fateful in her last relationship until her ex cheated on her; so she cheated on him once. after reading these post it all makes since; but its also scaring me.

so, like every person here its been roller coster for me. i've learned to be patient and understanding. i love this girl to death so i have to.

even though i think i have a good understanding on what to do when she has an episode....i know i really dont.

so i need the help of people who are in a relationship and people who are bipolar.

-should i be afraid of her cheating on me even though she said she would never?

    - she just had an episode and hasn't spoken to me in few days. how should i go about this?

she's done this many times. i always end up hitting her up and she says shes sorry. but each time it seems to get worst and worst.

this last time she texted me that she's made up her mind and next time we see each other we need to talk =0(

    "bipolar disorder"

i was with a bipolar for 7 months till last month. i fell in love with her and i thought she was the one for me, she told me she has bipolar within a month of our relationship and i told her that i love her and i will be there for her, but i didnt know it was that serious of a condition. just like your story i was also afraid of cheating because i think she told me she has cheated on previous relationships but she will never do that to me and thank god she didnt cheat on me. we've had 3 arguments which in all those arguments she will just stay away from me for a couple of days saying she has no energy and that she will call me when she is better. we'll make up and be ok again till i said something that she didnt like and there she goes again shuting down and i wont hear from her for a couple of days. now its been a month since we broke up i miss her and love her a lot but im also understanding that if i we get together it will be very difficult to have a relationship. it is a roller coaster ride specially if she doesnt take her meds. so just a friendly advice for oscar, try to be there for her as a friend because episodes will happen and you will be hurt as they tend to break up relationships. they love us one day and hate us the next.
