| My exboyfriend is bipolar?I'm 36 year old and have being in a relationship with a man that has never being diagnosed with bipolar disorder but I think has al lot symptoms. We were together for a year and a half on and off for the last 6 to 8 months due to his difficulties in relating to me. During that time I felt we were close and he did anything in his power to get me there, the signs of his moods swings and constant confusion in how to act in a relationship and the verbal abuse were the first real sign. I once went and checked the symptoms and he did have most of them from the shopping spree and irresponsible behaviors to the constant saying one thing and forgetting about it, blaming me for it. The last few months were the worst one as he started breaking it off and coming back acting like nothing happened while he met another person that he was leading on until recently when he started going out with her. Kept leading me on this all time and made feel like I was never enough that I was the crazy one and denying anything he ever said basically. At first he was really caring and attentive and seemed really genuine and slowly kept turning into a monster like cold and cruel behavior. I had a really hard time realizing all this thing about him and he kept changing on me for the worst to the point that assured himself another "victim" without ever being honest with me. I realized that brought to depression and almost an eating disorder his controlling and manipulative behavior made isolated from the social live we both are part of.I slowly and taking it inn and trying to realize that it was never what I thought it was although it s really hard when having deep feelings for someone. |
