I think by boyfriend is bipolar

So many stories, so similar to mine. I was divorced for about a year, I am 47 and have three children. Was going out and having a great time, I did not want a relationship so soon after divorce. Well, I met a great guy (38) and proceeded to full very hard. We actually fell in love with each and he moved into my home shortly after the relationship started. He was wonderful, great with my children, etc. & so forth. We talked, laughed and loved! Then he got very moody! He would pace back and forth, & mutter to himself and complain that he needed time to be alone. We went on a vacation together with my kids and he was drinking a lot. He just turned on me and got very very angry & the whole world is against him & get this "It's all my fault". Mind you, I gave this man a place to live, love, and helped him get his life together. We returned from vacation and another outburst happened where he threatened suicide. I forgave him and insisted he see a Dr., which he did and was prescribed Wellburtirin. That went OK but then he had another outburst, switched meds to Vybrid, took them for about 3 weeks & then stopped all meds!!!! OMG, what a rollercoaster, I have now insisted he go to a pychiatrist and he has agreed.

The only symptoms that do not match are as follows: He does not cheat (his libido has gone quite suddenly), doesn't even go out with friends, works all the time (car salesman), doesn't really blow money, does play on line scrabble for $ but it's like $25 every two months. He does drink & I believe he is an alcoholic. He has cut down a lot since the last outburst. He definitely has social anxiety. Why doesn't this show at work, etc.? He will sleep everynight, but sometimes goes to bed very late and always wakes up to go to work. Does not lay around & sleep. Please anyone with bipolar similar????
