    Yahoo! Answers: Why is my throat is numb so much?

    Thank author of this post/commentSo every so often, like once a day, my neck/throat becomes numb. Mainly around where it meets my skull but also back by the far end of my jaw. I doubt I have strep everyday, and I don't think it is my tonsils. I usually get it when I have anxiety or a stomachache, but it's not like a nauseous feeling. Can someone tell me what this might be, it is really annoying me.
