Answers: schizophrenia....my life and questions? hey. so i'm a 24 yr old female and i have been suffering for at least 6 years with anxiety and depression. i have also gone through a rough time with what i think would be considered schizophrenia. at first 6 years ago i heard voices and then felt impulses to harm others until it stopped for 2 years and then came back full force. i say this because i had hallucinations, delusions about my life and relationships that i thought were real, i always thought i was being contacted by a dead person...or that i could actually talk to them out loud. then i started seeing random visions, sometimes scary hallucinations, words being written on a wall, or the writing of things online or in books would scramble and change around. i grew even more depressed and suicidal because of the visions, until i started to get better, but even now i still see a few visions, they only thing is i know they are fake now, but they still annoy me. i have also noticed i am completely paranoid. i always think people are thinking about me...or that people i meet randomly at stores are all talking about me and that everyone i know..family and friend is out to get me..or hates me. sometimes i just have anger bursts for no reason to the point where i think i'm having a nervous breakdown. i just think i'm still a little weird lately. any suggestions? |
| Some people have extreme and inflexible personality that are distressing. This causes you to be disturbed and anxious. I believe that there is always a remedy for those cases including yours. You simply need to see a psychologist, so they can assess what you are really going through. It would be helpful if you try to divert your attention into new things so that you will be excited and forget other things in your mind. |
| People have different tolerance and way of dealing with anger, depression and stress. I think it is important that we do look for some good ways to somehow handle these emotions. I myself have some difficulties dealing with my emotions. And I tried to find some good ways to somehow take those feelings away from my system.
