We know God destroyed His chosen Nation on more than one occasion, Knowing that guaranteed salvation, knowing that God was angered by sinners and knowing how he convicts our spirit when we sin?
First, God never destroyed His chosen nation, he chastised them for their sins and disobedience. Second, God is faithful to His Word. He is not a liar like man, therefore, if He says that we are saved granting all conditions are met, we can trust that it is as He says it is.
I have to agree with Chin Chin. I think it is very important that we act in accordance to what God wants us to. There would be nothing to loose once we follow his words. If we continue with our wrong doings then how are we be sure that we are having God in our lives? Think about it my friend. Living in the righteous path maybe hard but with His grace we are safe.
Hi there! I think it is really true. I don't think God will never destroy his Chosen nation. God, of course will never do that. I believe that He really loves us so much and he can't afford to do that. Thank you so much and have a great day to all!
Maybe what you're talking about is Noah's 40 days in the ark. That was the first and last time that He did that. He got angry because of the people's sinfulness and told Noah to build an ark where he can bring his family and a pair of all the animals he can find. All the other people perished then but God promised that this will never happen again. God is forgiving and His love for us is perfect. We should put Him first so He will direct us and crown our efforts with success.
I agree with all of you guys. Every decision God has made had its own purpose and it is for the betterment of the world. We shouldn't blame God for what is happening with our world today because we are also one of the factors why there are many calamities that had happened these past years and even today. It is the consequences of the actions of the people. I don't see God in the way.
