    Answers: Is there help for a emotional eater?

    Thank author of this post/commentIam almost 50. ive been on many diets over the years, even tryed to just eat the right foods, healthier foods. but i find when i get upset or worried over something, all that goes out the window. food, since i was a child, makes me feel better, at least for the moment. so no matter what diet im on, i need to have a different mind set about food. but it must be a strong addiction in my head. i dont drink or smoke. the doctor currently has me on a diet pill, but around 4 oclock, i start getting hungary to were i have to try hard to control the feeling to go eat things i shouldnt. at this age, i dont know if i can ever get a handle on it, i know i want to. i have been heavy since i was a child, except when i was a teenager and in the foster care system, i was about 25 lbs overweight. now, its way over that. is there help for me?? a book to read? video? something? thanks for your imput.
